An announcement to hold myself accountable, I guess.

4 years ago I lost 40lbs in four months. It was wild. At my heaviest, I was 227lbs, a junior in high school, and incredibly depressed. I’m now a junior in college, and I have since gained maybe 35 of those 40lbs back. My goal weight is 160, though I’d be more than happ to settle around 180 with a nice muscular build, as this time, I know I’ll have a better workout plan & will be able to keep the weight down while working on my sculpt.

Back then, I’d rigorously record my calorie count, run for ten minutes a day, and do push-ups and crunches.

Now, I’ve got a better workout plan I’ve been using on and off, plan to start doing cardio every day again, and am going to go back to recording my calorie count. I’m also on levythyroxine for my hypothyroidism (which I hadn’t known about before).

I guess this is just me making it official.

I’m going to loose the weight.

I’m going to be healthier.

I’m going to love the journey.

I’m going to see the results I desire.
