lost 40 lbs in 1 yr

I don’t wanna make a long drawn out post but I’ve lost 40 lbs in a lil over a year and I literally see no difference. Starting weight of 237 lbs in Aug 2019 and current weight 195-197 lbs. I am 5’1” and 28 y/o. Long term goal weight is 150 lbs even tho it’s still a lil higher than the BMI standard but idc.

Seeing the difference on the scale and my clothes fitting better has been encouraging but the before and after pics look the same to me. I’m not gonna post them bec this is literally my first post lol but yeah. I feel the same now as I did when HS ended at 150 lbs, several years ago when I was 170 lbs, when I started trying at 237 lbs, and now at 197 lbs. I am working out as I have a personal trainer but I can’t seem to get my shit together re: food. I really need to decrease my sodium and bread intake but I’m working on it.

Just needed to vent. Advice is welcome but please be nice. I am sensitive.
