Has anyone ever overcame mental blocks when trying to lose weight? Did you have thoughts that you couldn't do it, so why try? Or you weren't worthy to look healthy and look like a normal weight person? Or you didn't deserve to be beautiful? If so, what did you do to overcome these mental blocks? I recently watched a TedTalk on Defensive failure and it really resonated with me. Looking for ideas from folks who overcame Defensive failure.
Defensive Failure is what's happening when you vow to go on a diet or start job hunting week after week and never, ever make any progress. In your heart of hearts, you don't really think you can do it, or you just think you should do it, or you don't believe that “people like you” do things like this.
