Not losing as much as expected~

Hey folks,

23 F - 5'10 - currently 207lbs (starting ~235) - no set goal, but "healthy" range for me begins around ~175-180

I've been losing weight since about May by staying in a deficit and consistently being active. I went from barely being about to run 0.5 mi to almost being able to run a 10K (I just did 5.8 mi yesterday and will bump up to 6.2 next week woohoo!) and have found real peace and enjoyment in exercise- I do it because it makes me feel great. I've been working on breaking down a lot of my bad habits related to food and focusing on finding balance.

My goal is always to lose 1-2 lbs per week, and I've been hitting that goal (I'm averaging close to 1.5 lbs lost/week) but I still feel some disappointment in the fact that in the past month I "only" lost 6 lbs- and while that ~is within my goal~ and is a ~healthy/expected weightloss~ it makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong.

I keep telling myself slow and steady is what I'm aiming for, so I know I shouldn't be too mad or disappointed by this, but I guess most of all I'm just worried: is my weight loss slowing too quickly? While I have lost over 20 lbs and that's awesome, I'm still realistically not even halfway done and still have tons of fat to lose, so I wouldn't be expecting a "plateau" this early (even though it's not one. Am I freaking out for no reason?)

I've tried to refer to TDEE calculators often to check in with my calorie intake. My BMR is approximately 1700-1800 and my TDEE ranges from 2600 on my most sedentary days to upwards of 3600 on my most active.

- I typically consume ~1700 calories on my most sedentary days, which I bump up on my more active days to accommodate for the extra energy I'm expending (and duh, I'm hungrier on those days.) I try to live by the general rule that ~hey if I truly am hungry and need fuel I'm going to eat it~.

Any notes about my deficit? I felt like it is/was potentially "too large" because I do want to be smart about my weight loss and not do anything too extreme, but as you can see it's not like I'm losing weight too quickly or anything.

I appreciate any advice or words of encouragement. Thanks all!
