18F here 5’4 and about 147lbs. I’ve stalked this subreddjt for a while and I think posting something and getting advice from others will hopefully help me.
Over quarantine, I’ve gained a few pounds (about 3 I think). My goal weight is to be in the 120s and i know it’s possible if I work for it. I don’t want to sound like im making excuses but it’s been feeling really hard to keep the motivation going and eat healthy especially since i have the habit of giving in.
I know that being calorie deficit will help me lose weight and I’ve tried that but am feeling like I failed. And as for working out, I hear that resistance training is the best way to lose weight and build muscle but I don’t have access to a gym. Im able to do YouTube workouts and I have some resistance bands which is what im trying to work with.
I guess i would like to know if you all have some YouTube videos you’d recommend or some healthy recipes i can try. Is there a better way for me to track what im eating? How can I stay motivated and stop giving in to foods that I know are bad for me. How can I develop a stronger mindset?
Thank you for reading and I appreciate any help/advice you’d give :) I really want to lose weight
