Feeling discouraged, any advice?

I’ve been lurking on this sub for awhile and am always inspired by everything I read here, so I was hoping to share this frustration and maybe get some advice. I’m a 22 year old, 5’1 female and during quarantine was able to calorie count my way from 138.4 to 124.5 and was feeling great about myself! I still had about 5-7 lbs I wanted to lose, but I was really happy with my progress.

Then, I went to visit my parents for two weeks. I did my best to eat mindfully but I didn’t track and had some fun meals more regularly than I have lately. I returned home, weighed in and ended up right back at 138. It felt terrible to see that number, but no big deal, I thought. I’ll just get back into tracking, getting in my water and exercise, and things will creep back to normal. That was almost four weeks ago now and the scale hasn’t budged.

How did I gain back almost 14 pounds in 14 days? And, how come I can’t get rid of it?

Anyway, thanks for reading and hopefully I can start making some progress soon.
