What I found to be the most important factor in losing 100+ lbs... be selfish, find YOUR reasons (pics included).

Progress pics (quarantine haircut included)... 305 -> 199

Two years ago I made the decision that it was time to drop weight. I had ballooned to just over 300 lbs (305 at my heaviest weigh in). Everyone will debate the best way to lose weight, but that differs from person to person. For me it was CICO (currently at ~1600/day) combined with running/lifting 3 Mon/Tue/Thur, BJJ on Wed, and boxing Friday, every single week... no exceptions.

But with all the people I've spoken too who have lost weight and those have not yet been able; one thing has been common denominator of success. YOU NEED TO BE SELFISH AND FIND YOUR REASON. Once you find that everything become easier. Be healthier for your kids, make it easier to find a date, to become less self conscious/more confident, to look better in your clothes... it does not matter what the reason is, just that it will motivate you.

For personal information, my current goal is to get to the mid 170's then hit the weights harder and put on muscle until the mid 180's. I track every single calorie I eat using the LoseIt app and weigh in daily. If you've got questions, fire away!
