Weight fluctuations

Hi there! I’ve lost 10 lbs of my 30 lbs goal. I’ve been steadily losing 1-2lbs per week until a week ago. I gained 2lbs OVERNIGHT. That was almost 2 weeks of work down the drain. I’ve lost 1 of those 2 lbs, but it’s slow.

Nothing in my diet has changed. I’m hitting my macro goals, I’m at 1200-1300 calories per day.

The biggest change is that I’m exercising less and I ate ONE meal out. I ate 2 small fish tacos.

I know this is so small, but it makes me worried that I’m plateauing early or possibly backsliding. I’ve heard that a gain like that is not real weight gain, but possibly water retention.

Does this happen with anyone else? What’s normal?
