I’ve decided to cut myself some slack

Today has been rough. I’ve never posted here before but reading about everyone else has been so motivating! I’ve been doing cico for about 3 weeks (25F, 5’3”, SW: 174, CW 168.8, GW 135) and it’s been going well.

But today has been a bad day and I turned to food for comfort. Then of course I started to be mean to myself for eating junk food when I’m reality I still made a better choice than I would have three weeks ago. So I came here, read some of your stories, and decided to cut myself some slack. I’m going to be kind to myself because I’m worth being kind to. I’m going to take care of myself today and not give up and try again tomorrow.

I wanted to share because I wanted to say thank you to everyone here for showing that it’s worth it to keep working to be healthier! So thanks!
