I hate exercise for the sake of exercise. I don‘t know if it‘s the selfserving purpose of it or some psychological blockage because of some bad experiences from PE class back in the days.
Whatever it is, when I go climbing with friends, I‘m not exercising, I‘m socialising.
When I do yoga, I‘m not exercising, I‘m relaxing.
When I go hiking, I‘m not exercising, I‘m enjoying nature.
When I go boxing, I‘m not exercising, I‘m letting off steam.
When I do pullups at home, it‘s so I can have more fun with my friends in the bouldering hall.
When I do some squats, it‘s so I can eventually do that hiking trip my friends babble about since last august.
I now life a much healthier and more active lifestyle than a few years ago. But I still don‘t exercise. Fuck that.
