Didn't weigh myself for three months - and I still lost weight!

TL;DR: lost access to my scale back in February, figured I'd gained quite a bit back by now - lost 1kg instead!

21F, first-time poster here. I started losing weight in October, when I realized that I was at almost 80kg and very close to class I obesity. Until mid-February, I had lost about 9kg through a combination of calorie counting, IF and starting to go on runs. I found that daily weigh-ins kept me accountable.

Unfortunately, my scale broke and I didn't manage to get a replacement until now. Without my frequent weigh-ins, I wasn't as strict with my other tracking anymore, either. I skipped calorie counting for weeks at a time, started again, and stopped one or two days later. With my country being in lockdown, I also spent an embarassing amount of time baking (and eating) delicious cakes and cookies and bread... However, I kept exercising a few times a week and tried to eat well throughout.

When I got my new scale, I figured that I had probably gained a few kg. I would've been happy if I had gained only two or three kg. And then I stepped on the scale - and I had lost another kg compared to February, so I'm now more than halfway to my ultimate GW! This also puts me barely below a 25 BMI - I'm now at a healthy weight, y'all!!!

Now, I realize that -1kg in three months is a total snail pace. It's still a huge confidence boost for me, since it showed me that my new habits re: portion control, exercise etc. will probably see me through maintenance as well. I'm also so much more motivated to get back on the wagon and lose weight in earnest. But even if I go at this pace, I know that I will make it to my goal weight eventually
