My fiancé is working hard to lose weight -- he is just over the medical definition of "obese" and has a family history of diabetes, so we are definitely concerned for his health.
We are both familiar with the concept of CICO, but I was wondering if anyone could help me with some of the specifics? I've never had to diet before so I'm a little bit out of my element here.
Anyway, my fiancé is incredibly prone to severe migraines, and he gets them almost like clockwork if he doesn't stay relatively full. We are working on increasing "calories out" by going on daily walks but in the meantime, what kinds of foods would be best in our situation?
I'm especially interested to hear if anyone else has had to deal with this problem?
