Hello everyone,
I'm currently doing CICO with about 1100 calories a day as a 5'8 290lb male.
I eat about 45% carbs, 45% protein and 10% fat.
I weigh every food and log everything meticulously, down to the last calorie.
I actually feel really good and can exercise every day (lifting weights every second day and exercising on my elliptical on the other days) for about 15 min a day, with a pretty high heart-rate.
I think I could sustain that diet for a long time but today I stepped on the scale and my weight didn't go down, it actually went a tad bit up.
On day 6 now, weighed myself for the first time yesterday (right after waking up and using the bathroom) and did the same routine today, and I didn't lose any weight.
I should lose a lot of weight very fast when calculating my TDEE, I used sedentary for it and I got about 2750 cal a day as my maintenance.
So by eating 1100 calories (even a bit less) and exercising daily I should be in about a 1700 calorie deficit every single day but somehow I can't lose weight.
Do I have a medical condition? Is my metabolism destroyed from my many attempts to lose weight before? Is it all water weight? Even after 6 days of dieting?
I would love some answers.
Thanks and have a wonderful day!
