Trying to get down to 170, and then 150

I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis so when I was undiagnosed I gained a bunch of weight in the span of a few months back when I was 16. I went from 130 to 180 in a very short amount of time. At my heaviest, last year I was about 235lbs at 5'1. Then I got to 179, but recently I've gained about twelve pounds back. It scares me so much, I really don't want to gain any of that weight back. I think part of the problem is that I lost all of that weight accidentally when my medications made me not hungry at all. Now that my appetite is back and my stress is at an all time high, I'm so scared. I'm working hard though! Today I ate very good, and I'm trying psyllium husk to curb my hunger at night and mid afternoon. I really want to do this, any tips/tricks now that I'm actually trying to lose the weight?
