Tip: Delete your takeout apps from your phone

I had a great NSW yesterday and I wanted to share- especially to those of you who are just getting started and live in cold climates like me and just want to cozy up and be brought warm food. When I am trying to be disciplined about spending money and eating healthy, I’ll delete the various food ordering apps from my phone (GrubHub, Doordash, UberEats, etc) and declare that I’m never going to use them again. I used to do this with dating apps before I met my bf too lol

Yesterday I didn’t have time to eat all day and had been working on the house renovation so I was exhausted and just like “Fuck it, I’ll order Uber eats for dinner since I have the calories to spare”. It takes about 3 mins to download to my phone and then I usually can’t decide what I want because I am that woman so the annoyance of having to wait probably 40 mins for a meal with god knows how many calories in it actually made me get my ass up and make myself a double veggie cheeseburger from the Morningstar patties and sandwich thins we had at home. 705 calories! I had room for dessert!

Anyway, you can always re-download the app later. If you delete it, you’ll have to wait the extra 3-5 mins for it to load before using it which is time you have to consider the impact.
