Quick rant, my friend is being really difficult with my weight-loss.

So I've lost 10kg and I'm feeling great! I'm only 2kg from my first goal weight of 79kg! I'm doing this through a combination of Keto and CICO (also sobriety, yay!). I don't find my diet difficult and I enjoy the food I eat.

I work with my "friend" (48/m). He is technically my boss and our job has us work on site. This means we fly out for weeks at a time and the company rents us a minimal apartment as it's cheaper than a hotel. My friend has been doing lazy keto which is cool so we can shop for and cook the same groceries. I've been having better success than he has because he doesn't understand the importance of a calorie deficit. I've tried explaining it to him but he doesn't seem to care. He still eats nearly 3000 calories a day whereas I trend around 1600.

The last couple days I've been asking him to drive me to the local rec center to get an access card so I can start working out while we are on site (he is the only one insured to drive the company truck). He keeps coming up with excuses on why we can't go.

Today we had a disagreement because I turned down breakfast due to the fact that I'm also incorporating intermittent fasting in to my routine. He said I'm going overboard and I can't "do all the things", that I'll do more harm than good and he knows I'm not happy.

I have been doing CICO and Keto for two months and decided to bring in IF because I'm not really hungry in the mornings anyways. It doesn't seem extreme to me. I told him making these changes feels good, and I find them easy.

Between him refusing to let me workout while we're here and complaining about my dietary choices, I'm starting to get really fed up. The worst part is he's started buying crappy food (as if he's given up on his Keto) and is constantly offering them to me, telling me how much I'm missing out, then getting pissy when I turn his offers down. Sorry dude. Junk food does nothing for me anymore. Eating right and taking care of myself does. (Oh and I'm happier than I've been in AGES! ♥️)
