I just found this sub and I'm so grateful because I'm at a loss. I'm 33, female, 191 lbs, 5'6". I have been trying to lose weight since before Christmas and I'm just not. I have been eating around 1400 calories a day. I'm active daily, 4-5 days heavy lifting at the gym, maybe 30- 45 minutes and 5 miles walked a day according to my watch. My goal was to lose 5 pounds a month but I haven't lost anything. Comparing mfp to my watch, I should be burning 800-1000 calories more than I'm eating but the weight never changes. Not a single pound. I've had my hormones tested recently and my testosterone was low but not terribly, otherwise normal and my doctors have me only on meds that dont cause weight gain. I've lost 90 pounds a few years ago on 1300 calories, so I'm just totally not sure what's not working this time.
