I've been overweighted all my life, since I was very little, even though everyone else in my family is skinny. I've tried to lose weight countless times and failed miserably. I realised this year that I fail because I set up myself for failure, my goals are too far away so I never achieve anything.
Every time I said to myself "this is the diet that will definitely work out" I thought that the feeling of happiness will come after losing the 65lb I need to lose, so losing 3 or 4 lb never made me happy and I ended up giving up every time.
My goal this time was very simple: " I will only eat at the table, never in my room, for three days straight" It may sound insignificant, but I feel accomplished today that I've got to do what I said I was going to do.
My next step is "Only eating at the table" AND " Eating slowly, putting the fork down with every bite for three days straight"
Wish me good luck, I am feeling motivated :)
