I can't seem to change my mentality

TLDR; Whenever I lose some weight, I always bounce back to my old eating habits. What can I do?

I posted a while ago about how motivated I was to lose weight. Well, something shitty happened.

Whenever I wanted to lose weight, I'd keep it up for a few days to a full month. I'd be really strict to myself about not eating anything unhealthy. But I'd always bounce back to my normal, unhealthy way of living.

I buy junk food whenever I want to. My mind just doesn't seem to care in that moment. Once I have finished whatever snack I was eating, I feel bad immediately. But then the next day it happens again.

This has been going on and off for over a year now. I am always trying to lose weight, but never have enough willpower to do so.

Does anyone have some tips to help with this? It's supposed to be a change of lifestyle, but I just can't seem to get into it.
