I (F/24) have always made my New Year’s resolution to lose a certain amount of weight. I am at my heaviest weight yet (~210), but I am also at my happiest and most successful. Last year was truly a great year for me personally, academically, professionally and I do not want my latest goal to diminish my accomplishments. My goal for 2020 is to lose 40 pounds by mid May so that I can accept my graduate diploma knowing that I can have it all!
I am choosing to share my goal with this community to help me motivate myself when times are tough. I hope that I can continue to share my successes and failures, finding inspiration from others who are striving to achievement a better self in the new year.
