What is a realistic work-out plan for a beginner?

Hello everyone, I just got a gym membership (literally 2hrs ago) and I am going to the gym for the first time in forever tomorrow. Nerves aside, I'm a bit unsure on what I should/can actually do. I have been struggling with bulimia for many years, and covid did not help at all, so I have put on a ton of weight and want to get back in shape (the healthy way this time).

I want to find a happy medium between doing nothing and using exercise to purge/punish, so not overdoing it either. The fact of the matter is that I have no idea what the happy medium is, so I figured I should ask people that went through it, which got me here.

I have zero stamina, meaning I cannot for the life of me run for more than 45 seconds. I have an elbow injury and can't lift more than 10-15lbs with my right arm (for a couple years now). I do have a heart problem (thanks eating disorder), but I've been cleared by my cardiologist to exercise "moderately". I figured I can go on the treadmill and the stairstep thing and do some squats or chest stuff, but I don't know much about sets or reps, and I don't want to go in with a work-out plan that is too bold and then feel disappointed.

I know what I need to do food plan wise, but I am very lost with this exercise thing, and I would really appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Thank you!
