It might sound weird but... I just want to celebrate pooping.

Before I changed my diet I ate like crap... yet wouldn’t be able to crap reguarly. I know bowel movements are a taboo subject but I think it should be talked about more because I thought it was 100% normal to only poop once every second (and sometimes even third) week.

I would go from constipation and diarrhea regularly. I thought I just had a sensitive stomach and that it was normal. I never talked about it with anyone because of the taboo nature. Not even my doctor.

But I wasn't sensitive (at least not to the degree I thought). I just had a terrible diet. Empty carbs and a lack of fiber is horrible for your stomach. Excercising is also great for getting your stomach and bowels going.

As someone who sometimes went weeks without pooping... it's so satisfying to have regular bowel movements. As we grew older this becomes more and more important. Elderly patients often have issues with bowel movements and with enough build up the fumes can even begin poisoning the body.

Thank farts for pooping!
