Something that I noticed as a kid with my sister, and various friends who are consistently overweight and can't understand why despite thinking they were eating healthy foods. They always without fail salt everything without even tasting it. Always have a ton of mayo/ketchup/chilli sauce with chips or in a sandwich, any type of sandwich. Lashings of butter on veg, olive oil on pasta, sugar on cereal. All habitual without considering the taste of the actual food or impact to the waistline, a learned behaviour.
