I had been purposefully staying at the same weight for about 3 months, working on getting stronger on lifting weights. This was working, but I recently took a 360' video of myself and still looked chunky. So I'm recommitting to looking the best of my life for the summer of 2021.
Starting weight 212, current weight 175, goal weight 160. Slowly been making adjustments to eating habits. Current "rules" are:
1) No eating from 8PM til noon. - Easy now and a good way to skip calories.
2) Lunch has to be super high protein, only carb some fruit or oatmeal. - lunch is most often 12 oz cottage cheese + 1 can tuna (or + 3 eggs if I'm home). This has also become automatic and easy.
3) Protein shake after lifting weights. - Lifting 4-6x per week.
4) Dinner is a protein + 1 carb serving + LOTs of raw vegetables. - Dinner has been the final frontier of work, as I usually break down and eat too many carbs or do something stupid and eat dessert. Stuffing myself with raw vegetables does the trick every time, but I rarely stock the fridge with enough veggies to do this many days in a row.
5) NO BEDTIME BEER(s)!!! - The hardest battle.
So I have 6 months to lose 15 lb. I assume that 15 lb lighter will have me where I want to be, as I've never been at that weight with any amount of muscle. Should look great. Thats the goal anyways. Good luck to all you fellow journeyers.
