NSV I beat my cravings!

A month ago, the school year started and I was teaching 2 in person classes and 2 virtual classes. Last week we did "conferences" which meant long days, skipping my workouts, and 2 days of takeout coordinated with coworkers (read: I ate fast food for dinner). This week, I got quarantined, and the weather has officially changed to fall. What I'm getting at is that I had a taste of fast food, its cold so I want comfort food, and I'm stuck in my apartment with no one to keep me accountable. Tonight, I REALLY wanted anything with cheese melting off of it. At first I figured if nothing else sounded good, I must not have been hungry. So I took a shower. Then my stomach growled. I still only wanted that cheesey delight. So I decided that I would make myself veggies for dinner, and I could make it as unhealthy as I wanted, as long as it wasn't dripping in cheese. I cooked up some broccoli with probably way too much oil, I loaded it with ranch powder as seasoning, and at the end I sprinkled just a pinch of parmesan cheese. While it was cooking (I like mine crispy so it took a little bit), I did a few exercises with the new resistance bands I ordered. Now dinner is so good I did a little happy dance, and im thinking I might keep working out after I finish eating.

The best part? If you asked me a few months ago I would tell you that I hated broccoli.
