Weight Loss for Everyone: Getting Covid messed up my progress.

Getting Covid messed up my progress.

Started my journey at 177 lb in middle February. Reached my goal weight of 150 on June 17th. Tested positive for covid on June 20th. The first few days, I could barely eat, and dropped to 148, but then got hungry but had limited options with food trying to stay away from the kids and out of the kitchen. Most foods also made me feel sick, so I was eating a bunch of high calorie, high sodium foods.

Then I got hit with a stressful financial situation a couple days ago and have been stress eating. I am back up to 152 now and need to get back on track so I don't gain even more back. But it is so hard. I was doing good for those few months, eating healthy, limiting junk and takeout, only having it occasionally. My eating habits aren't as bad as they were at my highest weight, but still not sustainable for maintaining my goal weight.

Not sure if I have the motivation right now to get back on track for maintenance. I know 2 (or 4 pounds depending on how you look at it) isn't much and goal weight should be a range, but I am already back up to the upper limit of my range of 148-152. I'm hoping most of it is water weight from the increased sodium and will be back down to 150 once I start eating healthier again.
