Hey guys. I've, for the first time in my life, finally losing a bunch of weight. I know it's faster weight loss than recommended, but 3 months ago I weighed 237 pounds and I am now 194. I've done a lot more physical activity and changed my diet completely to lose the weight I have. I'm definitely not starving myself but I'm also definitely eating way less. On top of that I have cut out essentially all sugars (besides fruit) and have replaced a lot of the carbs I used to eat with more vegetables.
For the most part this has been a positive experience. However I have noticed that my mood fluctuates more than I think it used to. I'm finding myself being able to become frustrated very easily lately. I've always had a bit of a battle when it comes to controlling my anger but I have over the years found ways to control it that work for me and I have never let my anger lead me to do something that I have regretted. That is still the case but I just am finding that I am really moody lately. I don't want this to affect my personal relationships so I have been trying to think of things that could lead to this.
The obvious big change in my life this year has been the fact that there's about 15% less me. So I'm wondering if that can be part of the reason for my irritability lately. As I said before I'm not starving myself so I don't think it's just a case of being "hangry". I was hoping someone here could give me some insight. Thanks a bunch to anyone who has any info.
