"Well done, but you never needed to lose weight in the first place."

Is anybody sick and tired of hearing this shit? A family member of mine is notorious for it and it is so demotivating.

I have lost 10.8lbs in Jan by actually sticking to it for a full month. No booze, CC, IF and weight training every weekday.

I decided to post my progress on Facebook to "well you never needed to lose it in the first place."

Don't tell me whether I need to lose weight or not. I will decide that. What I would have preferred was a "well done you've made decent progress" or literally nothing at all lol.

Is there a good comeback to this? I ended up going on a rant to them privately about how this sentiment is demotivating when a person in my position needs that extra push to keep going into a new month.

Anyway, rant over and keep on keeping on you guys :)
