My weight's been up and down over the last 4 years ever since I quit smoking, then hit 30 and my metabolism slowed waaay down, and am happily settled in newly wedded bliss with my husband who's just as prone to choosing junk food as I am.
I used to be 148lb no matter what I did. I think I'm more like 200lb now but I haven't weighed myself since before Christmas as I'm scared of what I'll see. I'm disgusted with how I look right now.
My husband and I have recently started trying for our first child and I'd really like to be healthier, slimmer and KEEP it that way. We're moving house this week so I'm going to start C25K again next week - other than that I have an office job which keeps me EXTREMELY sedentary and currently don't do any exercise other than the occasional dog walk.
I've tried things before- Slimming World, CICO, MyFitnessPal- and they all work in the short term but then I drift off. I lose 15lb or so, feel brilliant about it and put it all back on again. I feel like such a cliche. I want to lose around 35lb.
How have you got motivated and STAYED motivated? What's worked when you've wanted pizza but chosen a healthy option? I know it's different for everyone but I'd like to hear from as many people as possible.
