How long before you started to buy new clothes?

I’m 24F! I’m 5’4” ft and I went from 174 lbs last January to 134 lbs today. I used to wear a women’s size 12, and now I’ve been wearing a 4 or a 6. I usually wore a large or medium before, now I’m in smalls or XS (crazy right??). I recently went through my wardrobe and got rid of about half of it because it was comically large on me or literally fell right off my booty too big. But... honestly, almost none of my wardrobe fits me well right now. I did a tiny bit of shopping when I was fitting into size 8’s and those aren’t ridiculously huge, but they aren’t that flattering. It’s gotten to the point where I’m not feeling good in a lot of my day to day clothes because they just don’t fit well. But I have about 10 more lbs to lose, and I’m training to pass a physical fitness test for my dream job, so I’m hesitant to drop all that money on a new wardrobe if in another year’s time I’ll have to toss it all out AGAIN. I thought I’d be excited to buy new clothes but?? It’s a little stressful. I don’t know the optimal time to buy new clothes in order to have to spend the least money and feel good about myself. Has anyone else gone through this? What did you do?
