losing weight while sick/self-isolating/possible mild coronavirus

Firstly disclaimer, this is an angst fuelled rant/diary-entry?/just musings/'letting it all out'/planning post...

For context, live in London, UK, 21F, 164cm. Bit of background- fell ill on the 17/3/20- may or may not be coronavirus. My mum and I are both suffering from coronavirus like symptoms- have a strong feeling it really is. Been self isolating since then- literally haven't left the house- (worst/initial symptom was the feeling of a ball being stuck in my throat + dryness- so bad it made me feel like I was choking esp at night; fever; dry coughs; and for a couple days had shivering feeling). Have gotten better in the past couple of days, but they're still much more pronounced at night.

Taken this opportunity to 'glo up'. Have been temporarily laid off and I'm meant to be finishing my degree in a couple months and starting my internship but everyhtings delayed... have this weird fantasy to go back to uni/convocation/whatever/internship/back to work they decide looking hot af (I know, sounds really stupid, but hey motivation). I've realised that a lot of things are linked intrinsically to losing weight...

  1. LOSE WEIGHT!!!!!! I ballooned to 170lbs again (started at 185 June 2018, plateud at 166lbs and got down ton 162 just a few months ago) but now, after a week of tracking- back at 166.8lbs. Trying to lose a minimum of a lb a week (and want to get under 160) in the next couple of months. 120lbs is my ideal but I would settle for 130lbs as my UWG too.
  2. Get clearer skin! I didn't realise how much water I was NOT drinking... so now I've been chugging warm (like slightly cooler than kettled water kinda warm) and notice a difference in my skin already! Wow. Also been using Amerliorate's body mitt to help with KP (Seriously guys, it works wonders if you have KP or dry skin), and helps with cellulite. Also the water keeps me full- I realised I've just been eating whenever I'm thirsty. Terrible. Also water tastes so good :) (I don't drink anything apart from water anymore, apart from warm milk with turmeric = life saver). I have learnt = eating is NOT substiture for thirst.
  3. Banned coffee. I'm honestly allergic to it. Was craving it for the past month, mum finally bought some and decided to make some 'dalgona coffee' as its viral. It was tasty. but. Omg. Worst covi-19 symptoms ever. Shivering, fever and choking sensation and my heart rate.... it was wild. And my stubborn ass still didn't listen.... made whipped coffee cream yesterday.... again symptoms were bad yday. Finally got my sh*t and chucked it out. NO MORE COFFEE. Also don't need those extra calories (I like my coffee SWEET- like sweet as in 1 ounce of sugar per cup kinda coffee. Sick. I know. But tasty. ANYWAY ITS BANNED FROM MY LIFE THO.
  4. Overall fitness. Realised I cannot run. The fastest mile I have ran was in about 15mins... but normally it takes around 19/20 mins... I feel shameful when I read people doing it in like 9 mins. wtf. I want that to be meeeeeeeeeeeeee. And i wanna be able to dance. and look good while doing it. cant even do the tik tok dances smh. maybe i should get back and do the 30 day shred....

Also loasd of other things, e.g. getting more hair (I have insane hair loss- I had super thick hair growing up and as soon as I out on weight/hit pubery age 14 have had the most detrimental hair loss ever-)- feels like after losing weight, it has gone better. So definitely weight related change too....

anyways, just had to let it all out. i'm sick, don't have anybody to share my feelings too (yes i am a 21 old ugly loser with no friends, we exist)... but i love this community so thought i'd write it here!!!!!! (not sure if this is allowed anyway, pls delete is its not :P)
