Before and after photos - worth it?

I currently weigh 193lbs, down from 217 in October, and I didn’t start counting calories until January, when I was 211. Things are going really well, but given that I’ve hated the way my body looks, I haven’t taken any “before” photos. So, now that I’ve lost a decent amount of weight, I’m really disappointed to not have a before photo to compare things to, because I don’t see it at all. Even more than 20lbs down I can’t tell the difference, because I see myself every day and the changes are likely be my subtle. My family says they can see the change, so that’s good I suppose. I’m curious how you feel about taking before photos. Is it worth it to do so, is if motivational for you?
