Teetering

I’ve been teetering for some time now. Years. Decades, really. The new work-from-home challenge has been a surprisingly easy adjustment. I made a point to go for walks, watch my food intake and stay occupied. I noticed that a walk/jog I went on helped me shed a few pounds in a few days. I want to do that every other day, at least but my knee swells if I go too hard and keeping up the pace of a healthy routine jist sucks. I like sneaking a brownie with breakfast and chomping on a snack a few hours before dinner. I won’t get anywhere like that, though. Jog all I might, if I slip further into old eating habits I will gain weight back. I’m teetering on progress. This is not a start-over like I always have done before. This is a deep breath and strong effort to keep pressing forward towards a goal I set 15 years ago.

I can do this. I just need to want it bad enough. Seeing everyone’s determination thru this trying time in our lives is inspiring. Thank you!!
