TL;DR at he bottom:
Back in 2014 I was in my fitness prime, because I was fresh out of uni, i used to go to the gym twice a week, run 5 miles thrice a week (once I did 16 miles!)
then due to circumstances, I had to move back in with my parents, I have far less disposable income to buy the healthy foods I used to, it certainly doesn't help that I'm in another country.
due to personal circumstances, I began drinking a lot more due to my depression and overeating (especially late at night) due to overall stress dealing with my parents and living with them in my home country- It became a pretty vicious cycle, and I've gained over 30kg (66lbs) over 5 years.
I have lots more ugly stretch marks, my body looks comical at best, especially with my massive man boobs, and I've lost what little muscle and self control I had.
I'm absolutely fed up of the person I've become, and I know it's not entirely my fault, but it's quite frustrating, and i think I've had enough.
I've started earning a little more money, so I'm looking for the cheapest and healthiest foods to buy in bulk, prep and store for the week. I'm not a fussy eater, so I can eat the same thing day in and day out, so long as it's healthy and tastes okay, but I need to have a full stomach or i start snacking.
TL;DR : used to be hot and strong. got fat and weak. want to lose 10 lbs a month by eating healthy on a budget and walking. healthy and achievable or not?
