Frustration w/ recovering my period

This is gonna be a rollercoaster so I hope y'all are ready.

First off, I'm an 18F and currently about 130lbs as of today.

For most of my teenage years, I had an irregular period. When I first started my menstruation back in sixth grade, my period was regular. I had it every month. I don't remember exactly what year this happened, but I'll just give an estimate of between middle and high school. I had a prolonged period for a month where I lost a lot of blood and went to a gynecologist that gave me some pills to recover (not birth control, but I don't remember exactly the name of the pills/ medications). Since then, I've had an irregular period. Sometimes I'd skip a month, sometimes I'd skip two months, sometimes my period would come 10-15 days after my last cycle. It was all over the place.

Now, I was always overweight. I wasn't obese, but for my height and weight, I was in the overweight category for nearly all of my teenage years. I was 5'4" since 7th grade (haven't grown since) and I was 160-170lbs. I maintained that weight all throughout the rest of middle and high school. I did very little exercise and I did not restrict any foods.

When quarantine hit, I started losing weight. I started losing weight in May through a caloric deficit. Up until now, I've lost 35 pounds so I am now at 130lbs which puts me at a healthy BMI for the first time in my life. However, my last period was in July. We are now in November. I have gone nearly 4 months without a period.

What is my exercise routine you may ask? A shiton of high intensity cardio 5x a week with 10k steps every single day. Back in August I was consuming 1400 calories which made me fatigue and tired so I bumped it up to 100 in September and October and as of now I am consuming 1600 calories with that level of exercise.

I don't know if I have some kind of underlying condition because when I was overweight, I still have an irregular period. Now, at a healthy weight, I don't have one since 4 months ago. If I cut out all the cardio and consume more calories, will I get my period back?

The one thing I don't want is to gain weight, but I know that's what I have to do. But to go back to 160, maybe even higher?? I was depressed, I had low self-esteem when I was heavier. Now, I feel more confident. Could I cut off all cardio, switch to weight training 4x a week and consume more calories to get my period back?

Matter of fact, is there ANY way I'm not aware of to get my period back without having to gain weight? Is that even possible? It was only 4 months that I lost my period so how fast can recovery be? I know this is not a medical sub, but any piece of information helps.

Thank you.
