Would appreciate some guidance on Intermittent Fasting (IF)

First of all, you guys are amazing. The stories here kept me motivated in 2018 while I was losing weight from 95 to 75 kgs.

Secondly, I gained back all that weight in the last 6 months. The first time, I used calorie counting + low carbs + cardio to achieve my goals but I think I gained back the weight after I started eating carbs in the normal amount.

I have now decided to give Intermittent Fasting (IF) a try. I started it three days ago. While the first two went fine, on the third day I was really hungry in the morning. I always used to eat breakfast before this and “having breakfast is extremely important” is something that is etched in my mind. I lost control and had breakfast yesterday. Today too, I am feeling really hungry and I have locked myself in the room debating whether I should control myself or go eat it.

I am thinking of taking a new approach now. Have breakfast, skip lunch, and have dinner. I eat breakfast at around 7 AM and I get home from work at 6 PM. It’s just 11 hours of fasting, and in between I drink milk tea once or twice. Is this okay? Or should I continue skipping breakfast and lunch?

Would really appreciate your help. Thanks!
