wanting and needing to lose weight for a sport

Hello everyone,

I'm a figure skater with the goal of being a pairs skater. In order to do this, I need to lose some weight... I weight around 150ish pounds at 5'7". Currently in my teens. I know that I'm close to being overweight. I really want to lose weight so I can succeed more in figure skating.

How can I do this with the crammed schedule of a teen? How to make healthy habits last? I usually just end up being healthy and then falling back into the pit of being unhealthy. How can I consciously make the right choices for my body? How can I lose fat and not gain muscle? I have a goal of being around 120lbs, mostly muscle. How can I do this??
