I love the place where I get my car serviced. They’re incredible mechanics and my entire family has been going to them longer than I’ve been alive. My least favorite part - their waiting area chairs with their arm rests.
I’m not one of those people who blame the chairs. They didn’t shrink. My body grew. In the past, I would sit in them and be basically squeezed in and spilling over the arm rests.
This morning, I went to get my usual oil change/tire rotation and I sat down in one of the chairs expecting the same. Surprisingly, I have a little more room! I’m by no means swimming in chair space over here, and my sides still touch the arm rests. But I also don’t feel like someone forcing Playdoh through a straw.
I’ve lost 20lbs so far. I’ve still kept it almost completely to myself. I haven’t been able to notice a difference in my own body yet, but this is certainly encouraging.
