Here we are, again!

Well, r/loseit friends, it's been awhile but I'm gonna drop in and give the obligatory "Starting Over" post. I've dieted on and off for about 10 years now. I've always been a big guy, but now it's just out of hand. I'm 44 (in a few months), M, 6'3" and I started my newest journey a little over 2 months ago when my weight was at 493 lbs. My wife and I did keto for 2 months, knowing that while keto is great for a weight loss boost, for us it is unsustainable in the long run. Now we are adhering to CICO. As of today, I am at 481.3 lbs. I'm looking forward to dropping enough weight so that I can do some light exercise without hurting all over the next day.

Anyway, this is me, checking in and being accountable. Even though I don't post often, I lurk here quite a bit. This is such a supportive and awesome community. I'll keep you guys updated!
