It's a journey not a destination

I've been trying to lose weight since just after Christmas time, and let me tell you, it hasn't been easy. Seeing everyone post on here gives me hope that this shit takes time. I wanted to see amazing results really quickly but I know that won't happen (30 now! yay!) so I have to take my time with this. Shout out to all y'all that have been doing this for years, you queens and kings, you're really doing an amazing job to stick to something for so long. I lost about 60lbs when I was 20, and now for some reason if I don't see an immediate change (again, 30) I get discouraged. Stick with it my friends, we got this! I've been thinking a lot about the habits that I was raised with, which I've carried through my adult life and it takes SO much to keep these constant habits at bay but it's so worth it to feel healthy and happy. I can move more than I could a month ago, I don't get winded going up the stairs, and I walk 5k a day. These are good changes, one little thing at a time will sustain for much longer than trying to get instant results. Keep at it, keep changing, transform!
