Hello! I have no idea if this is the right sub for this, but here I go.
I’ve been focusing on fitness and my health for the past few years now and have always struggled when it comes to discipline/self control. It’s just SO easy to get fast food, eat out, and binge when I have money. I have a pretty good paying job, so that’s a majority of the time.
Well, the past couple months I’ve been really tight on money. Like ask my boyfriend for $2 so I can buy bananas kind of tight. I’ve been getting the food I usually buy (chicken and veggies) and all of a sudden I have no problem eating it. Im actually enjoying it, seeing results and feel amazing both mentally and physically. This has happened before where I’m tight on money and eat healthier.
So my question - has anyone gone through this? What do you do to maintain your habits? I swear right now I’ll never go back to my old ways, but I also don’t have the money I’ll have next month. I don’t have much discipline when it comes to money either. I could throw it in a savings account, but then think if I can throw it in there I can take it out just as easily. I just want to maintain where I’m at right now.
Thanks in advance! :)
