So far, I’ve only ever been able to lose weight when sedentary ... and as a short person, the calorie counts when using that approach just aren’t sustainable. Like so many, I fell off the wagon over the holidays and erased a lot of progress from the past year :(
So this time I am adding exercise to my routine. It’s quite a bit - probably 300-400 calories burned extra each day. But my hunger outpaces that burn SO much now, and I’m just so uncomfortable.
I’m trying for a deficit of maybe 300 calories, but finding I just am giving in to my hunger this time. Being okay with waiting around for a meal is SO much harder now than when I wasn’t exercising at all.
Anyone have any tips or tricks for successfully fueling a more active lifestyle? I feel like maybe my body isn’t getting what it needs, but it just can’t be ALL the food right now ... lol
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
