Hey guys,
I'm 1,80m (5'11 I think) and I weight 115 kilos (like 253 pounds). I recently started doing exercise and eating healthy. For the exercise part, I'm doing some weightlifting at home with dumbbells and jogging outside. Because of the whole COVID situation, I bought a rowing machine to replace my outside runs.
I usually run really slow, like 5kms in one hour and I'm using the Adidas Running app, with a profile with my stats, which says that I spend like 880 calories doing this activity. Now, on my recently bought rowing machine, with my stats entered, I got to do like 500 strokes in 22 minutes. The issue is that the console shows that I only spent 54 calories doing that, and I really think the effort doing this is quite higher than my usual jogs. Am I missing something here? Are these measuring units different or what?
Thanks in advance.
