so i’ve got a lot going on at the moment (3 uni assignments, all due in the next 4 days - none of them started), i’ve struggled with sleeping this past week (i have been awake for about 20 hours so far), and to top it all off i got my period 14 days early. it’s safe to say i’m pretty exhausted.
i’m not necessarily planning a full-on, binge eating, cheat day (as i would have in the past) and know that i’m motivated enough to hop back on my regular plan from tomorrow once i’ve caught up on some work, and hopefully some sleep! but i’m so exhausted i’m just not up for counting today, i want to eat when i’m hungry, and eat what my body is telling me it wants - a day where i can relax a bit, focus on doing the things i need to do instead of worrying about weighing my food, have some comfort foods. does anyone else have these days? do they have a big impact on your weightloss?
i just don’t know what to do - the rational part of my brain is telling me that eating like this for a day won’t have a big impact, and that not counting for a day will not undo any progress (it’s not like i have any massively unhealthy foods at home anyway!) but i’ve been consistently counting all year so far, and i’m not sure if it’s the best idea to skip a day.
does anyone else have these days? not necessarily a big “cheat” (i hate calling it that), but skipping on the counting and just eating intuitively/relaxing for a day?
