It's about the little details

So, it's my first time posting here, I've been riding this wagon for roughly 7 years, went from 280 lbs, morbidly obese, to 180 lbs.

I always struggled with portion control, so I always count my calories as a way to limit myself and keep within budget.

Today I had a pretty big indoors workout (godamnit Corona) and there was a sweet treat I really like in the fridge.

I took it out (it was on a package smaller than a candy bar), cut half of it, ate it, and put it back, it didn't matter how much I like it, or the fact I had calories left.

Now it just dawned on me, that my mindset is changing, there was no pondering, no mental argument, I acted on instinct.

I know it may sound like a very small thing, but it signifies a very big turning point for me, I'm finally eating smarter without struggling, it's like my mind is finally ready to go the rest of the way I have left, it means my brain is already fit, and my body will soon follow.

TL;DR: I come from a struggle to control my portions background and today I just did it instinctively.
