Snacking vs little meal

SW:220LB, CW:160LB, 27F.

I had an epiphany today. It was around 16h30 and feeling peckish. I was considering a small snack, like pumpking seeds. But I knew I would do like every night and end up eating 5 "small snack" adding the calories up easily to 500calories and more. My boyfriend just bought some raisin and cinnamon bread and I thought screw it, I'm gonna eat that toast with a bit of light cream cheese. My boyfriend knows I'm trying to lose weight and today I when I told him I was making one(to know if he wanted one too) he said "better eat real food then munchies". And here was the epiphany. Instead of eating 500 calories and more because I never satisfy my small hunger, I could eat a little meal of around 170 calorie and actually feel full after.

That's all, that's my epiphany, really anticlimatic, but that brighten my day lol.
