"Skinny fit girl" now at her heaviest struggling to lose weight

Before I start I'm gonna be honest. I do not count calories.

I'm 32/F 139lbs at 5'4.

All of my life I've been the "skinny fit girl." I've always watched what I eat for the most part, but would indulge on pizza, burgers, fries, etc whenever I wanted to. And wouldn't worry so much because, "hey! I have a fast metabolism!" Not to mention, I've been working out on/off throughout my whole life. Pretty much since my early teens.

Throughout my 20's I was always between 120-127lbs. I looked pretty thin. Ate whatever I wanted, when I wanted. Yet worked out.

In my late 20's, I would range between 127lbs to 135lbs. I would say 132lbs looks the BEST on me. I wouldn't wanna go below that because that's when I start to look TOO skinny. Not to mention, I don't wanna lose my *ahem.. lady lumps. At 132-134lbs I'm well maintained.

All throughout quarantine I did not workout. Some days I ate healthy. And other days I ate like crap.

Long story short. I went up to 141lbs. It may not seem like a lot, but to me...it's a lot on my body.

I waited until the new year to get back on track because I did not want to go another summer not being able to fit in my bathing suit or cute summer tops/shorts. So the week before NYE, I ate whatever the f I wanted. Cheese fries, burgers, pizza, sushi. I don't have much of a sweet tooth. I'm a salty queen. Anywho. My weight shot up to 144lbs and it's now 2021!

I've been at it for exactly 1 month now. The 144lbs went down to 141lbs within the first week. I guess most of it was water weight.

My goal is between 132lbs-134lbs. I've been working out 3-4 times a week doing Team Body Project which is AMAZING, I highly recommend BTW. 30-40 min of HIIT. And then finish off doing some weights on my own, squats, lunges, etc.

Currently I'm at 139lbs. I have before and after pics. I notice a slight itty bitty difference. Those around me notice a slight difference too, but I'm still not satisfied. I feel like I should have lost MORE.

My diet is clean. I'm pretty much pescaterian at this point. A lot of salmon/fish, quinoa, eggs in the morning with toast, smoothies, fruits and veggies. WATER. Gosh I'm so sick of it but I keep drinking. I eat 3x a day. If I snack in between it's a few baby carrots with hummus or a handful of peanuts Everything is in moderation and clean.

My body is sore af..but I keep going. I'll give myself a 1 or 2 rest day.

I almost feel as if my body wants to hold onto this extra cushion of fat forever and there's no letting go.

I'm starting to feel a little discouraged. When I was younger I was able to lose 5lbs within a month without barely trying and now look.

This past Sunday, 4 days ago, I weighed myself in the morning and I did see 136lbs and I was all happy yay!! I figured, let this be my cheat day and have 1 or 2 small cheat meals (ugh maybe I got carried away) since I was doing SO well for the last 2 weeks. So that same day, I had a smoothie with piece of whole grain toast for breakfast, Taco Bell for lunch (4 tacos and 2 Cinnabon delights) and a small bowl of pasta with scallops for dinner with 4 Milano cookies before bed.

Well since then!!! I'm back to a whopping 139lbs in the mornings and it's been 4 days. My muscles are sore. I barely feel like working out. Seeing 136lbs was glorious for 1 day. I just don't understand anymore.

Bodies are confusing af.
