So, I need to lose about 35 pounds that I've been struggling with for about a year now. I'm a woman over 40 who exercises a lot so it's important to me to get lots of nutrients/ veg and protein so that I can recover from my workouts. Generally, I think a lower (<100g) carb approach would be good for me, esp since I have a crazy carb/ sweet tooth. But dude, I don't want to meal plan. I don't want to go to the grocery store with lists 1000 ingredients long. As someone who's been obsessed with food for the better part of my life, I just don't want to think about it so much anymore. I want a basic, paint by numbers kind of approach that on some level I can follow for the rest of my life.
Have any of you figured out such an eating system? Like, if you have been eating the same lunch for 5 months, I want to hear about it. I need inspiration from the "I have an extremely boring diet but it works for me" community. Any ideas/ tricks/ repetitive meal creations that worked for you?
