I think I need to eat more calories daily but I’m terrified to aim higher

I’m a 5’1” woman (25f) eating 1200 calories a day when I’m able to stay disciplined. But staying disciplined isn’t happening much anymore. (SW 167 CW 156)

I try to workout each morning, but am sedentary most of the day.

I usually overeat for emotional reasons but I’m at the end of the rope here. I can’t handle this anymore.

My whole life I’ve aimed for 1200 calories when I diet, and I lose maybe 1-2 pounds a week if I exercise. About a half pound if I don’t. I can’t fathom eating more daily but I keep bingeing so...somethings not working.

It sounds silly but I feel like the sky will fall if I aim for a higher intake.

If you’ve dealt with something similar, how did you adjust to aiming for more calories daily?

Or is changing how much you consume daily just really hard?

If you overeat for emotional reasons, did you find eating more calories helped you resist this temptation?

Lastly, how many days/weeks/months did it take for you to find yourself comfortable with your new habits?

Thanks so much for your time
