I've been "trying" to lose weight all last year but I'm a nurse and covid PTSD has me emotionally eating a ton when I really can't afford to. I'm only 5' tall so my BMR isn't much to begin with and calorie counting is so hard if you're trying not to eat processed food with a preprinted calorie count. I'm 145lbs at current, down from 152 at my heaviest.
When I was pregnant with our daughter I got severe preeclampsia at 24 weeks and I'm terrified of it happening again. We want to try again but I need to be in the best shape of my life before we roll those dice again. What can I do as a short person to help when my BMR is so low already? This time around I'm considering IF 16:8 the three days a week I work and OMAD on my off days.
